I'm lucky enough to now spend most of my time in France, in the medieval village of Noyers sur Serein in the heart of the wine growing areas of Burgundy. Each summer in recent years we invited a range of Scottish artists to exhibit in our 'pop-up' Gallery in a 16th century former butcher's shop.
In 2021 we opened our own gallery, La Galerie Ecossaise, in the heart of the village predominantly exhibiting Scottish artists and makers.
Noyers is a joy and is designated as one of France's most beautiful villages with a great mix of galleries and artisans, restaurants and wonky buildings filling it's cobbled streets.
